Golar Offshore Cameroon FLNG vessel prepares for final Commissioning & Start-up

Golar expects first LNG production soon through the FLNG vessel Hilli Episeyo offshore Cameroon.

A ship-to-ship transfer of cool down LNG with the Golar Bear was completed in mid-December, followed by the introduction of feed gas from the onshore processing plant.

Commissioning is virtually complete of the gas treatment systems, while in February, Commissioning continued of the refrigerant trains.

Final Commissioning, followed by acceptance testing, is on track for mid-April 2018.

In Brazil, Golar’s construction for the Sergipe power project is also running to plan, with a full financing package due to close soon.

The associated floating, storage and regasification unit Golar Nanook should be delivered in September and will be required on site in 1Q 2019, ahead of project Commissioning.

Modifications to the FSRU will result in a delivered cost of around $285 million.
