Sadara Chemical Company as SMP  – Operations Isocyanates Integration Focal Point -Key Deliverables: Acts as an interface with all the facilities within Isocyanates envelope and site, as problems in one system causes problems / disorders in other systems due to high integration of the facilities. Worked with integration Engineer/Manager in Improvement studies and integration model optimization activities to optimize the production and capability of Isocyanates Envelop. Participates in the drafting of integration procedures and checklists for the coordination of envelop operational activities and emergency response. Collects data in the event of production failure and lab result of different streams (waste water, steam condensate, different units sumps etc.) and proposed the action as per data. Supports the integration engineer in the collection of all the information from the units within envelope/site.

Commissioning and Start-Up Engineer

Commissioning and Start-Up Engineer UPI-SGU:  – Key Deliverables: Participated in Mechanical Completion prior walkthroughs, Punch listing and tracked to clear the punches of various SGU systems. Witnessed all SGU pre-commissioning contractors (NSH) and vendors activities. Provided support to the UPI-SGU pre-commissioning contractors, vendors in all pre-commissioning issues. Developed the UPI-SGU Commissioning and Start-Up Procedures (Deaerator, Motor driven Boiler Feed Water Pumps, Lube Oil Systems, Steam Systems, Fuel Oil, Ammonia, Flue Gas Treatment Systems etc.). In collaboration with other departments and vendors representative, where necessary converted vendor’s procedures, check list, commissioning procedures accordingly to company standard commissioning procedures. Manage Interface with Operations. Commissioned & startup the SGU systems i.e. Boilers, Deaerators, Motor driven Boiler Feed Water Pumps, Ammonia, Lube oil Packages, Flue Gas Treatment (SCR, NID and Lime) packages. Prepared all NALCO commissioning procedures of SGU section (Deaerator, Boilers) and Commissioned with NALCO team. Lead all steam LP/MP/HP blowing activities in SGU unit with contractor RISAL. Proposed boiler blowdown temporary arrangements during boiler startup and executed with contractor ACIC. Actively involved and organized all maintenance jobs during commissioning & startup activities with Vendors (Flowserve, Cerrey, Alstom, Zeppelin, Nalco etc.) and sadara maintenance in timely manner.

Gas Processing Plant Shift In charge

Gas Processing Plant Shift In charge / Operation Engineer – TSML is the environmental friendly Direct Reduced Iron manufacturing project  – Key Deliverables: As a Lead Commissioning Engineer during commissioning. Developed pre-commissioning, commissioning & startup procedures of different Midrex DRI systems (Reformer, Compressors, ID & FD fans, water complex systems). Lead all Pre commissioning activities (Hydro testing, Flushing & Air Blowing). Prepared scope and responsibilities for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and plan. Commissioned different Utilities section including Centrifugal Pumps, Cooling Tower, Clarifier, Heat Exchangers, PD and huge Centrifugal Compressor’s (6.1 MW). Lead all the activities of DCS Commissioning and Control loop checking. Modified DCS graphics as per normal operation. Conducted reviews of P&IDs provided by the MIDREX USA.

Operation Shift In-charge

As an Operation Shift In-charge – Lead the PDT (Performance Demonstration Test) as an Operation Shift In-charge of TSML DRI plant. Monitor and control the operations of different sections of DRI plant (Reduction Furnace, Reformer, Heat Recovery, Utility, Compressors & Material Handling). To assist Production Manager for achieving the Production Targets. Proposed modifications in the existing plant design, with reference to the improvement of Safety & operation. Ensure adequate plant conditions monitoring system, review & analysis of issues, monitoring and stewarding of critical plans. Maintain proper record of critical parameters for a specific production rate during the shift. Planned the ATR for maintenance jobs of different equipment’s Developed reports in the log book at the end of shift. Plant controlling on Honey Well Experion PKS DCS system.

Shift Engineer

Unicol Limited (Fuel Ethanol Refinery) Shift Engineer  – Unicol Limited is a Fuel Ethanol Refinery; by using Distillation and Ethanol Dehydration Unit (EDU) with Molecular Sieve Technology of MAGUIN INTERIS (France) producing 99 % Ethanol (Fuel Alcohol) with plant capacity of 105000 lit/day. Key Deliverables Monitor and control the operations of different units (Distillation, Ethanol Dehydration unit, Fermentation, Bio Gas & Utility section) of plant. To ensure safe, smooth & efficient operation of the Unicol Fuel ethanol Refinery as per Standard Operating Procedures. To propose modifications in the existing plant design, with reference to the improvement of Safety & operation. Planned the ATR for maintenance jobs of different equipment’s like (Distillation column, Heat Exchangers). Developed a report in the log book at the end of shift.

Envirochem International Chemical Engineer  – Profile: Envirochem deals in chemical additives of Pentol GmbH for fuel oil treatment in power plants. Key Deliverables Commissioned the chemical injection systems. Monitor and control the parameters of fuel oil in KESC power plant by using Pentol GmbH chemicals Pentomag and PentoMuls. Worked with client to achieve fuel oil parameters, minimize fuel oil consumption.
