Commissioning & Start-Up Technician

Commissioning & Start-Up Technician – SADARA Chemical Company – Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia – Key roles and responsibilities: Provide support, dedication, leadership and initiative in safe and successful commissioning & start-up of Isocyanates plant. Facilitated the commissioning and livening of inter-connecting pipelines from/to Isocyanates Battery Limits and tracked down the progress and status of each systems involved. Executed early and complex commissioning & start up activities following CSU binders and procedures as mandated by Process Engineers and Shift Team Leaders. Performed witnessing and inspections on behalf of the client to ensure EPC activities are executed according to owner’s requirements. Worked closely with the technology experienced plant engineers and technical advisors to develop, format and deliver commissioning & start-up procedures on schedule. Reviewed EPC documents such as system marked-up drawings, pre-commissioning procedures and checklists, test plans and commissioning manuals. Participated in MC walk-through and punch closure and helped document controller in populating MC dossiers and commissioning management database. Acted as HSE safety observer and ensure all applicable site/project safety procedures and protocols are fully and properly implemented during construction, commissioning & start-up.
