Siemens – Subcontract Manager – Saipem KAOMBO FPSO Water treatment modules for South and North FPSO Managing all contracts on site (Construction, E&I, Pipe, Mech. Install., Coating, and Client), Change / Claim management, Technical and Commercial review and negotiations of variation orders / Quantity Survey. Support main office with daily/weekly estimate and forecasts. Prepare site evidence reports for use if any future counterclaim / LDs was or could be relevant. Achieved; Significant cost savings on variation orders.

GE Oil & Gas – Deputy Site Manager – Ichthys Subsea Project (SPS) and APACHE JULIMAR Subsea Project (SPS). In advance of Site mobilization: Prepare and get approved GEs global procedure: ‘Global Fabrication and Construction Site Execution Plan’ Bid Clarification, of shortlisted sub-contractors in Malaysia and Indonesia. Review of: Cost / Unit rates – implementation procedures – technical and direct labor capacity – time and work schedule etc. On Site: Lead Mobilizing both Site Project Organizations. Batam Indonesia Supervision of ICHTHYS Super Duplex Well jumpers. Identify and recommend upgrade of facilities to meet the requirement for a safe, and clean working area for Super Duplex and other exotic materials. Review and comments on: WPQR / WPS / ITP / Working schedule and project specific procedures. Witness Inspection and Welding Qualification. Achieved; Significant cost savings in negotiations with local vendors to staff up both projects.

 

 

Senior Project Management

Senior Project Management – GORGON SPS – Project Manager for System Integration Testing (SIT) and extended FAT/EFAT. Scheduled the overall EFAT and SIT activities. Review of SIT procedures. Interview of additional SIT engineers needed on site Order in and mobilising equipment for EFAT and SIT.

Operations Maintenance Manager – Subsea/Surface trees, Wellheads, Control System, Pig Launchers, Risers, Umbilical’s, Operation Tools, Capital Drilling Equipment etc. Responsible for: Re-organization of 6 workshops to improve delivery time and standardize the way of working. Simpler organization and standardization of processes or procedures. Used 5S and Six Sigma to improve the turnaround time on refurbishment of X-Mas Tree. Lead and establish a team of 25 employees. Managing cost, quality, safety, delivery time. Manage external vendors to meet our new project requirements and standards. Achieved: 80% improvement on turnaround (not include major repairs after inspection of X-Mas Tree inside). Establish a standard set of procedures and simplified the process and responsibility chart.
